More than 300 years after the town’s beginnings, visitors can continue to experience colonial life in Newtown Square thanks to the dedicated work of Newtown Square Historical Society and the many buildings they have maintained from its past. These include the Paper Mill House Museum, The Hood Octagonal School, and Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation, all of which are operational for tours and even guided workshops, demonstrating life during the time they were built.

25 miles from Philadelphia, between the more rural farming areas of Chester County and the bustling Main Line, makes Newtown Square the ideal home for those who enjoy a mix of contrasting atmospheres.
