Doylestown is a hike and bike friendly community with a network of 25 miles of completed trails.  The town provides bike racks, shared roadways, and side paths for bikers and pedestrians; the trails also grant access to a larger system of Pennsylvania trails for endless biking opportunities. Doylestown is also home to numerous beautifully maintained parks that can be enjoyed by kids, adults, and athletes alike! Central Park, one of Doylestown’s largest parks,  is receiving a $13M investment that will add a community center, gym, public restrooms,  basketball courts, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and bocce ball courts to the already existing playground, soccer fields, disc golf course, trails, and amphitheater.

Recognized by USA Today as America’s “best small town cultural scene”, downtown Doylestown is a thriving walkable community.  The historical pre-Civil War town is rich with wonderful restaurants, shops, a theater, breweries, coffee shops, and more.  Perhaps the best part of Doylestown is the strong sense of community felt among residents and the warm welcome visitors feel, giving Doylestown a true “hometown” feel.  Doylestown is also home to America’s longest running Memorial Day Parade; which is just one of Doylestown’s highly attended organized borough events.

Known as the “heart of Bucks County”, Doylestown is easily accessible to other charming towns such as New Hope with Peddler’s Village, Newtown, Yardley, and more! Doylestown also grants easy access to a range of cities, airports, travel and work opportunities.  Just an hour north of Philadelphia, an hour south of Allentown, and an hour forty five from New York City, a commute to any number of career opportunities is possible. Doylestown also has a SEPTA train station with access to Center City Philadelphia and several bus lines that run through the community, including a local shuttle to get around town.
